Brad Veatch P.E. | Founder, Chief Executive Officer

Brad is an inventor, engineer, and social entrepreneur who is working to raise the quality of life of less fortunate persons worldwide. Focused primarily on developing affordable assistive technologies, he is leveraging sophisticated engineering design tools, advanced materials, and state-of-the-art manufacturing processes to create elegant and affordable prosthetic technologies for those living in developed, developing countries and impoverished regions. Brad has had successful careers as an engineer and as an entrepreneur. Brad is a registered professional engineer in the state of Colorado and holds an MsME; he holds several patents, and has received multiple Small Business Innovation Program (SBIR) funding awards from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and Department of Energy (DOE) to develop and commercialize new products.

Alwyn ‘Patrice’ Johnson | Senior Engineer, Chief Technical Officer

He holds two M.S. degrees in Mechanical Engineering focused on CFD and Fluid Power applications in renewable energy and assistive devices. Having published technical papers on the subjects of Biomechanical design, Fluid Power, Computational Fluid Dynamics and Appropriate Technology, he is also an AmeriCorps Alumni, Engineer Without Borders volunteer and a Council Member the Colorado ASME Chapter. He has a diverse engineering background developing products in numerous industries working for companies such as Bruno, Caterpillar, Whirlpool, AgCo and Raytheon. Patrice plays a key role in the development of conceptual assistive devices and authoring grant applications.
